I have no comments on that silly piece about comics our local Fox affiliate did. Because it’s stupid and pointless. I do wish Big Planet Comics was in the spotlight for something other than this, even if they don’t come across looking at all bad.
So because of that, I’m posting this. Jared Smith, owner of Big Planet Vienna, wrote this as a part of an ad that’s going in the next issue of Magic Bullet. Mark Burrier, the artist, wrote about his process in creating it.
I think it’s fun and cute, even though I’ve told Jared it’s highly unrealistic because we all know girls don’t go into comic book stores.
